We think plant care
should feel calm.
Plantcare started with a windowsill of half-forgotten plants. We wanted an app that nudges gently, only when it matters, and never makes you feel like you're failing.
We built Plantcare to leave you alone until a plant actually needs something.
The plant apps we tried treated caring for a fern like managing a warehouse - streaks, badges, red alerts, a constant hum of notifications. It turned something quiet and lovely into another inbox.
Plantcare watches the calendar and the conditions so you don't have to, and only speaks up when something needs you. The rest of the time, it stays out of the way.
We talk about plants the way you'd talk about a houseguest - by name, with a little personality.
“A plant doesn't need an app that nags. It needs someone who remembers - and a gentle tap on the shoulder when they forget.”
The principles behind every screen.
Quiet by default
Notifications cost attention. We earn each one, and send as few as we possibly can.
Plants are houseguests
We name them, learn their habits, and check on them the way you'd check on a friend.
Care is shared
Homes have more than one person in them. Looking after living things should be something you can do together.
Honest by design
Your data is yours. We collect the minimum, sell none of it, and tell you plainly what happens with the rest.
Plantcare is made by a small team focused on building one calm product well.
